Maria C. Deraco’s practice focuses on commercial litigation in state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels which includes contract disputes, real estate litigation, business litigation, and commercial landlord and tenant disputes.

Ms. Deraco also represents lenders and borrowers in commercial loan financings in connection with real estate transactions, equipment purchases, and loan refinancing.

In addition, Ms. Deraco represents and advises diverse clients including restaurants, hotels, and property management companies in matters concerning violations of the New York City Building Code and Fire Department, as well-as obtaining liquor licenses and sidewalk café licenses.

Ms. Deraco is a Co-Managing Partner of the Firm and was previously associated with Davidoff Malito & Hutcher LLP and Oquendo Ramirez Zayas Torres & Martinez LLP.

Ms. Deraco is admitted to practice in New York State, New Jersey, U.S. District Court, Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York.
