Labor and Employment

The Firm’s Labor and Employment practice offers its clients a comprehensive menu of labor and employment legal services and representation in federal and state courts as well as federal, state and city administrative agency proceedings before the New York State Division of Human Rights, the New York City Commission on Human Rights, The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). The Firm represents and advises employers on matters of employee hiring, employee terminations, separation agreements, alleged wrongful termination and discrimination claims, and labor relations and collective bargaining.

The Firm also advises its clients on the implementation and compliance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the American with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and other labor/employment applicable federal laws, and corresponding state and/or local laws.

In addition, the Firm advises and assists its clients with internal investigations of alleged workplace discrimination/harassment/retaliation complaints, the preparation of appropriate corrective action plans, and Human Resources staff training and counseling.
