Litigation
The Firm’s litigation practice offers its clients broad capabilities, experience and depth across many substantive areas of the law and litigation is the Firm’s most diverse practice area. The Firm represents individuals, private and public businesses, and nonprofit organizations in complex business and commercial disputes, business contract litigation, lease compliance and enforcement proceedings, intellectual property litigation, commercial landlord/tenant litigation, real estate litigation, administrative proceedings, and employment litigation matters in federal and state courts, and before the New York State Division of Human Rights and the New York City Commission on Human Rights.
The Firm also provides pre-litigation counseling and advice to its clients and seeks to enter into negotiations and settlement discussions to minimize risks and legal costs.
Judge Luis A. Gonzalez, retired as the Presiding Justice of New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First Department, leads the Firm’s appellate and mediation practice.
